About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher Locksmithing to join our Construction team. In this role, you will deliver engaging and industry-relevant education that supports students in achieving their learning and career goals.


Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging and inclusive training in Locksmithing, tailored to diverse student needs across various learning environments
  • Develop and maintain high-quality educational resources and ensure compliance with VET and institutional standards
  • Support student wellbeing and academic success through pastoral care, learning plans, and active engagement strategies
  • Collaborate with industry and colleagues to ensure curriculum relevance, continuous improvement, and professional development


Skills and Experience Required

  • Relevant vocational qualifications and current industry skills in Locksmithing
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
  • VET teaching experience, preferably in Locksmithing or related trades
  • Understanding of ASQA/VET compliance requirements


Additional Requirements

Successful candidate will be required to provide:

  • A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
  • A National Police Check
