About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Teacher Locksmithing to join our Construction team. In this role, you will deliver engaging and industry-relevant education that supports students in achieving their learning and career goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and inclusive training in Locksmithing, tailored to diverse student needs across various learning environments
- Develop and maintain high-quality educational resources and ensure compliance with VET and institutional standards
- Support student wellbeing and academic success through pastoral care, learning plans, and active engagement strategies
- Collaborate with industry and colleagues to ensure curriculum relevance, continuous improvement, and professional development
Skills and Experience Required
- Relevant vocational qualifications and current industry skills in Locksmithing
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)
- VET teaching experience, preferably in Locksmithing or related trades
- Understanding of ASQA/VET compliance requirements
Additional Requirements
Successful candidate will be required to provide:
- A valid Victorian Employee Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- A National Police Check
